Designer: Allan Scharff
As a vase, it is an unexpected way to display flowers or seasonal branches. Alone, it is a striking piece, drawing
the eye with its smooth curves and immediately recognisable shape. The hollow body and slender neck are intriguing; the
Ibis is a piece that begs to be picked up and looked at more closely. Modern design at its warmest and most lively, it fills a
key role in any home.
Design year: 2012

At first glance, Allan Scharff ’s Simple pieces could not be more different than the romantic, arts and craft style of Georg Jensen. However, they both spring from the same source, nature. Georg Jensen always claimed that nature was his greatest inspiration. The same is true for Scharff.
