About the design
Taburet is a contemporary, functional stool and occasional side table design that embodies uncompromising precision in its exquisite craftsmanship. Offering tactility and sitting comfort, Taburet is crafted in FSC™-certified solid wood with visible grain and a subtly concaved seat. Refined and beautiful, the Taburet’s seamless joints, perfectly balanced dimensions and meticulously aligned grain patterns set this piece apart. Taburet was designed in 2021 by renowned Danish designer Cecilie Manz.
About the designer
With two artist parents, Cecilie Manz encountered the world of design in early childhood in their workshop. Her own career began in 1997 with an academic education from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Following a semester abroad at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, Manz started her own company, which has been the focus of her work ever since.
