RFH RD7 by &Tradition
Originally created to seat visitors in the dining rooms of the Royal Festival Hall, the RFH Armchair by Robin Day is charactericed by the softly curved backrest and outwardly reaching arms. Rich in materiality, the chair’s striking form is achieved through a process of form-press moulding layers of beech and walnut veneer.

Materials
Product Material
Walnut and beech veneer, powder-coated steel tubing and steel rod, HR foam.
Production Process
The frame is CNC bent, welded together and powder-coated black. The back is made from layers of walnut and beech veneer which are form-pressed and cut to shape using a CNC machine. The seat is made from layers of beech veneer glued together and upholstered foam.
