Bistro Chair is an exclusive wicker chair designed by Franco Albini and Franca Helg. The bistro chair is part of a small series of bistro furniture designed by Franco Albini and Franca Helg.
The chair is handcrafted in sustainable Indonesian rattan by skilled wicker makers. We weave our Affäire furniture with the fantastic ArtFibre which is artificial fibers made from maintenance-free polyethylene that can withstand the sun's UV radiation. The combination of rattan and ArtFibre gives the wicker furniture a unique strength, flexibility and comfort.
The bistro chair is designed with beautiful, curved armrests that provide good comfort and extra support. The chair is a refined dining chair which is designed for brasseries, cafes and restaurants, but it is also suitable for the ordinary home. The furniture is made for indoor use but can also be used on the covered terrace and parasol outdoors. Here, however, it is important that the furniture has the opportunity to become completely dry if it is exposed to moisture.
