Mayor AJ6 by &Tradition
In 1939 Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen won an open competition to design a new town hall, a new library and a theatre in Søllerød (Rudersdal). For the town hall, they designed a wedding room with accompanying furniture - including a sofa for the waiting area for the couple to sit in before getting married. Designed for the solemnity, the appearance of the sofa was shaped with high vertical backs and sides. Get this Mayor sofa in four different variants.

Production Process
The Mayor sofa is hand built by skilled craftsmen. The base of the sofa is made of solid oak and a true statement of handcraft and traditional woodworks. The frame is build of solid beech with elastic belts and HR foam. Upholstery available in fabric or leather.
