From across a room, the carpet reads as a dense floral canopy seen from above, rich in colour and organic detail. Move closer and the image dissolves. Individual ASCII characters surface from the pattern, thousands of them, precisely coloured and arranged to construct the garden from nothing but text. It is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish what is natural from what is digitally generated. Digital Garden makes that tension visible. What looks organic was always written. What looks written still feels alive. Three colorways follow the garden through a single day. Dawn holds the first pale warmth before the colours fully arrive. Dusk deepens into amber, the garden at its heaviest. Midnight strips everything back, characters glowing faintly against dark ground.
