It all started when the trio were decorating a Norwegian hotel and needed a desk with thin measurements and minimal dimensions. Making if feel like thin lines floating in the air. The diagonal shapes are recurrent through the entire series and may occur as fictitious inclined level, this idea was also the inspiration when naming the series. Oblique means tilting in French.
