The series Opaque Objects, designed by Martin Bergström, is inspired by the atmosphere of space and the plant Henbane.

For the series, Bergström wanted to intertwine Skultuna's 400 years of history and tradition. He dug in Skultuna's archives and found the history of the place and the surroundings around Skultuna's Mill. The archives led him to a meteorite that struck a few miles from Skultuna on June 28, 1876, which sparked the idea for the collection.

For the collection, Bergström has built all the products in models which have then been digitally transferred.

Never leave candles unattended and make sure to blow them out before they reach the candle holder. Keep in mind that some surfaces may be extra sensitive to heat. Take extra caution if you are unsure of the qualities of the table top.
