The SZ02 Armchair, designed by Martin Visser in 1960, is a true expression of his minimalist design philosophy. Defined by pure materials, a clear construction, and a refined aesthetic, the armchair combines elegance with remarkable comfort. Its slender steel tube frame creates a light, airy presence, while the saddle leather seat provides supportive seating. 

Over time, the robust saddle leather develops a rich natural patina. Thoughtful functional details – such as the leather lace under the seat and the buckle at the backrest –  allow the leather to be tightened, ensuring the chair maintains its comfort and structure for many years. Subtle elements that contribute to the timeless appeal of this iconic design.
