ABOUT THE VL 45 RADIOHUS PORTABLE LAMP X ELSEWHERE
Based on Vilhelm Lauritzen’s famous Radiohus Pendant VL 45, you can take the VL 45 Radiohus Portable anywhere, indoors and outdoors, to create light and ambience with its classic mouth-blown opal glass. The iconic Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen designed the VL 45 Radiohus Pendant in the 1940s for his gesamtkunstwerk, the Danish Broadcasting House, Radiohuset. The pendant was originally named ‘The Office Lamp’.
This collaboration edition, created together with Elsewhere founder Ethan Gaskill, features elegant opal white glass with an aged brass finish, evoking a sense of patina, of history, and a timeless feel. The opal glass nods to the colour of the candle wax in Elsewhere’s Radio House scented candle, while the braided strap handle gives the portable a lantern-like quality that makes it a graceful fit as you carry it with you both indoors and outdoors.

The fixture provides uniform, general and diffused illumination. The quality of the glass ensures that the fixture is evenly lit.
